12th March, 2018

We request all to arrive latest by noon at Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun so that we can be on our way. This will surely be a beautiful drive where you follow the mountains upstream all the way. You will reach the splendid destination “Pahadi House” in around 3 hours with a decent walk of 2 minutes to the location. After reaching, Check-in to Pahadi house, have bonfire, delicious dinner and a good sleep.

 

13th March, 2018

A fresh start with the ‘Giner Chai’ followed by scheduled asanas and pranyamas . After that, take a organic wholesome breakfast followed by a walk through the neighborhood places which will take you to the sights and sounds that you are quite unfamiliar with. Lunch, reading time, siesta, chai, and get re-charged for another session of yoga and yogic breathing. Dinner followed by two of the most sought after activities, i.e., storytelling around a bonfire and star-gazing.

 

14th March, 2018

Wake up early to watch the morning sky light up as the Sun God weaves his daily magic. Get involved into another session watching and controlling your breath, followed by stretching and taking charge of your bodies. After a nutritious breakfast, we are ready to do the walk up a mountain to pay respect to Goddess Parvathi, who is worshipped as SURKHANDA Devi in this region. We will be on the way back after paying respect and having a light snack. A little late lunch, siesta, evening chai and time to get in sync with Yogacharya Somdutt Amoli. And end the day after having dinner, fun around a bonfire, late night conversations.

 

March 15th, 2018

We are ready for our morning meditation. Take breakfast which is followed by a walk in the woods behind the house. Take rest and have some Nimbu-Paani, then we wind our way home for lunch. That afternoon, for those who would like to, we revive our tradition of writing postcards to our loved ones (I will carry the postcards), putting stamps on them and walking down to our local post-office in order to put them in that red box which ensures that your message will be magically delivered to its recipient. I feel in this day and age of instant communication, writing letters, posting, anticipating their arrival and the joy that you and the recipient feel is priceless. After Evening chai, Yogacharya Somdutt Amoli takes over, followed by dinner, bonfire and reflections.

 

March 16th, 2018
Start the day meditating. This is the day we spend consciously and unconsciously giving thanks to all the infinite abundance bestowed on us by the creator. Somdutt Amoli Ji weaves their morning magic after you have had some refreshments. A healthy breakfast, and then those who are interested in getting some mud on their hands, can help in planting a tree because every sapling is a beginning, a new hope. Lunch, siesta, reading, chai and we have the concluding session with Amoli Ji. End the beautiful day with dinner, bonfire, and conversations.

 

March 17th, 2018

After having an early start with chai, we are ready to hit the road for our drive back to Dehradun. Everyone is suggested to book flights out of Dehradun that depart after 5:30 pm. With promises to meet again soon, we say you goodbye.
  
Cost: 

This is a pleasant familiar retreat with a maximum of 12 participants.
The total cost of this retreat is Rs. 22000/- per person

Inclusion:

  • Yoga Mat
  • Vegetarian meals and Tea (alcohol not included)

Exclusion:

  • Transport from Dehradun to Kanatal and back. Although we can help you arrange the same on an additional cost
